The two maps illustrate the development of Springer town from 1970 until the current time. Overall, Springer town underwent significant and prosperous improvements throughout the years.
Initially, the town did not have many facilities to offer as it only had a few, such as shops and a farmland. Back in 1970, the farmland covered a majority of the area, but nowadays its size was cut down to allow more space for the addition of new facilities. Another notable change was that there was only a single shop back then, recently 5 new shops were installed in addition.
In contrast to the initial road structure, the road structure in the current time is more complex and has more intersections to comply with the convenience of traveling to many different facilities. Regarding accommodation, nowadays residents not only live in houses but also in apartments. Besides that, another major change was the addition of a school and an airport. Thus, Springer town is now flourishing with brand new facilities to accommodate the resident’s needs.
