Overall, it is clear that while the majority of people, who traveled by Gatwick airport had holiday purposes, in all remaining airports most of the citizens wanted to visit their friends and families. Also, other intentions had the lowest percentage of travel in each one of the airports.
Luton and Stansted airports were the most popular ones among individuals who wanted to visit their relatives with 50 and 45 percent respectively. In addition, the percentage of these airports for business and holidays is almost equal, with a difference of 1 percent only in each category.
The Gatwick airport is the only one which more than 50 percent of its travelers were going on a vacation, but the passengers of Heathrow airport who had a business trip was almost two times higher of other airports with 26%.
