The bar graph illustrates the changes in the reservoirs water lavel of six cities in Australia October 2009 and October 2010.
Overall, most cities experienced a general increase in the rate of water in reservoirs except for Perth and Sydney.
On the one hand, Brisbane had the highest level of water in reservoirs in both years, at 80 percent in October 2009 and more than 90 percent in October 2010. Melbourne had the highest surge in reservoirs’ water level, which rose from just under 70 percent in October 2009 to 90 percent in October 2010, which was a 20 percent surge. Similarly Canberra’s and Darwin’s water reservoirs level also rose, from around 72 percent and 70 percent in October 2009 respectively, to 82 percent and 80 percent in October 2010 respectively.
In contrast. Perth’s water reservoir rate fell from 55 percent in October 2009 to only 35 percent in October 2010. Sydney’s October 2009 water reservoir level was the same as Perth’s, but it stayed the same.
