The column bar chart compares the number of magazines sold in five different nations; France, the USA, UK, Italy and Spain in 2005, 2015 and 2025.
Overall, magazine sales generally declined across five countries except for Spain, where its number almost unchanged over the given period. It is also evident that, Italy experienced the most pronounced drop, whereas France maintained its position as the leading country in the magazine sales.
In 2005, in France 40 thousand magazines were sold at the start of the period, which was the highest number in the chart. After which it fell marginally to 37,5 thousand in 2015, before dropping again 35 thousand by 2025. Similarly, the UK sales registered 32 thousand sold magazines, and this figure then declined noticeably to 18 thousand by 2025.
As for the USA, it started at approximately 31 thousand, after a slight increase to 33 in 2015, it plunged to 25 thousand in the final year. Likewise, in Italy 15 thousand magazines were sold, after surging to 20 thousand in 2015, it plummeted to almost 2 thousand by the final year. By contrast, selling the magazines was not popular in Spain, recording only 5 thousand in 2005. However, this figure rose slightly to around 6 thousand in 2015, before falling back to its previous level after a decade.
