This pie chart demonstrates the comparison in 1966 and 1996 on how was the money spent by Americans in 7 different categories.

Overall,the majority of money was spent on food and cars during this years.The least popular categorie is computers in the 1966,probably because there were minority of them.However, it has changed.As we can see, in 1996 the expences grew a lot.And the amout of money spent on books,rapidly went down.This statistic shows us that such categories as:petrol,restaurants,furniture-hasn’t changed much.

Talking about 1966,we can see that food is the most costly categorie was food-44%,and the least expencive is computers-1%.Petrol and furniture need almost the same amout of money-10% and 9%.And restaurants have doubled their percent in 1996.

If we look at the pie charts that illustrates expences during 1996,we see that people started spending their money more on cars rather than food.And because of technology developing,humans have also forgot about books, and started choosing to buy computers over books.
