The grpahs depict information related to the immigrants of UK. Further, line graph summerises data on targetted duration of the stay from 2000 to 2008 in which Y axis indicates the ordinal data on immigrants with 50 intervals. Moreover, the pie chart shows five resons for migration with percentages.
Overall, the planned length of the stay of immigrants show differing patterns in which, 2-4 year stays have incresed from 2005 to 2008 while 4 or more year stays remained constant, whereas upto 2 year stay category shows variations. Work and study puroses have shown significant propotions in the reasons for immigration in pie chart.
In considering the line graph, 2 -4 year stays have shown inconsiderable varions around 50% from 2000 to 2006 after which have increased to just over 50% from 2006 to 2008 and a rapid upward drive to around 100% from 2007 to 2008. in contrast, the visits that remained upto 2 years have almost remained constant at around 150 from 2000 – 2001 and have shown a considrable inclination from 150 to 200 wthin the next two years and a further dramatin increase of 50 within the year after. From there onwards, the numbers have been static untill 2008. The number of people foreigners who have stayed in UK for 4 or more years ave been stagnated at 10 actross the eight year period of time.
Looking at the attributions to migration, majority of 38% have reported the work purposes as the reason whereas 32% have said that it is studies that made them to stay. Equal number of a 7% have mentioned no reason or other reasons for this concern. In summery, many immigrants have stayed in UK upto 2 years by 2008 and majority of foreigners have intended to study or work there.
