The Line graph displays comparison in percentage between two countries USA and China respectively, between the years 1920-2000.
Firstly, in the year 1920 China has a birth rate of 10% which did not have much difference up to the year 1925 and in the year 1930 the birth rate had increased by 15% moving forward China had a drastic decrease for a short period of time which remained constant between the years 1940 to 1945. After that the birth rate has peaked between the years 1945 to 1950 with the highest percentage of 20% and abruptly decreased for the coming years 1950 with 7% and the graph has fallen down to 3% till the year 2000.
Additionally, in USA the country had a birth rate of 10% in the year 1920 without any major difference till the year 1940 with 12% and decreased to 7% in the year 1945 the graph shows that the USA had the highest birth rate in the year 1950 with 14% and has gradually decreased over the years with 8% till the year 2000.
In conclusion, birth rate in China has increased with highest being 20% in the year 1950 and lowest in the year 2000 with 3% while USA did not shows much difference in the birth rate except the year 1940 with highest birth rate of 12%.
