Overall, the immigration and the emigration were got up, but the statistics of immigration were significant increase. Net migration reach a peak of 2004 and 2007.
As can be seen from the chart, in 1999 the numbers of immigration accounted for about 450,000 people in UK, while the figures of people who emigrated were rose nearly 300,000 people. However, the statistics of net migration rate rose around 150,000 people from 2003. During the following years, the data of individuals who immigrated in UK witnesses a increase in its growth rate, rose to around 140,000 people i but the statistics of emingration were minor dropped in 2004. Nevertheless, as the same time, the figures of net migration reaching the highest point of about 250,000 people.
