The given line graph illustrates international tourist arrivals in various regions between 1990 to 2005, in every five years. Overall, it can be seen that all regions experienced increase. Additionally, the majority of tourist arrival was North America and Central and Eastern. Whereas, the growth rate was different.
Ther are two major regions experienced the greatest number of tourists in 2005, North America and Central Eastern Europe, which is different rate of risen. North America started with 70 million people in 1990 and peaked in 2000 around 90 million people, then dropped to approximately 85 million people. However, North America still the majority of all regions. Meanwhile, Central Eastern Europe rapidly increased with around 30 million people, then fluctuated between 60-70 million people in between 1995-2000 and finally peaked at 85 million in 2005.
Conversely, the growth rate of South America was the lowest. In 1990 started at almost 10 million people, then gradually increased to approximately 15 million in 2005. While, the one with started equally, Sub-Saharan Africa, was higher rate in 2005. Which was represented almost 20 million. Lastly, South-East Asia was gradually rise in 1990 to 2000, representing 20 million to 30 million but rapidly increase in 2005 which is almost 50 million.
