In the given line graph, the purchase of the top three bakery products, which are bread, buns, and pies, are shown during the year of 2014.
Overall, whilst the sales of pies had the smallest part in the market, bread and buns led the bakery market with almost the same share. Even though the pie market had the most consistent improvement in bakery sales, it did not change the order of overall market share distribution during the year. However, in December the sales of pies exceeded the sales of buns.
After having a decrease in the first quarter from $80.000 to less than +50.000, bread sales fluctuated around $40.000 and $60.000 in the second and third quarter; furthermore, the purchases increased linearly after September, and reached $80.000 again. During the timeline when bread sales were fluctuating, buns sales remained stable with $70.000 value in the market after having growth in the first quarter. However, the buns market lost value after August till end of the year.
The smallest market in the top three bakeries, which is the pie market, started the year with $10.000 in sales and with a linear growth it reached $20.000 in August. After keeping stability for two more months with the value of $20.000, the sales of pies reached $40.000 at the end of the year with a $10.000 monthly growth.
