The bar chart provides details about the global wheat production and cultivable land areas of the five different countries including China, India, Australia, Russia and the USA.
Overall, it is clear that all the countries have more cultivable land mass compared to wheat production, except for China. Furthermore, Australia has maximum cultivable land compared to the other countries while Russia being the country with least amount of land available for cultivation. Also, China and India are leading countries in the case of wheat production.
China has the highest wheat production of around 19%, although only about 15% of its land in cultivable. While, India has approximately 33% cultivable land area, they only produce around 14% wheat. The USA produces about 9% of the wheat, supported by nearly 23% of cultivable land.
Similar trend is followed by Russia, it grows about 9% of the world’s wheat, with a little less that 15% of cultivable land. Then comes Australia, with minimum wheat production of about 5%, although having maximum amount of cultivable land (50%).
