The line graph provided shows the expenditure of the government research in the State on five objections, namely, health, space, energy, general science and other over two decade, from 1980 to 2008.
Notably, the government spent the most on health research, which is nearly 10 billion in 1980. The expenditure of this research had a substantial surge over years, in particular, from 1984 until 2000, it dramatically rose reaching doubled, whereas, the expenditure of research about general science is the least which is almost half of expenses. Yet it has a continuous increment over a span of two decades.
Although the U.S. government spent nearly the same amount of money on space, energy and other’s research in 1994, its number has been slightly changed afterwards, resulting the number of space’s expenditure reached the second position in the data.
Overview, yet twenty years passed, the government generally spend their budget more to solve the health issues.
