The chart compares the proportion of individuals across various age ranges that participate in music concerts from 2010 to 2015.
Overall, young attendees showed dramatic fluctuations compared to older ones who revealed more stable patterns.
Over the whole time period, people aged 16 to 24 started with about 55% going to concerts in 2010, which dropped to around 45% in 2011. After that, the number rose sharply and reached nearly 70% by 2015 and a similar pattern was seen in the 25 to 44 years old group with nearly 40% in 2010 to around 60% in 2012 before ending at 65% in 2015.
On the other hand, older groups had more stable attendance rates. The 45 to 54 group initially set at about 63% in 2010, followed by a drop in 2011 and then stayed around 65% until 2015. People aged 55 to 64 had just above 20% attendance in 2010, dipped slightly by 2012, then slowly increased to over 30% by 2015.Furthermore, the 75 and older group had the lowest numbers throughout the whole period, setting at only about 5% in 2010 and continue to rose gradually to nearly 10% in the final years.
