The provided bar chart illustrates the female unemployment rates in four constituent countries of the United Kingdom for the years 2013 and 2014.

Overall, between 2013 and 2014, a general decrease in female unemployment rates was observed across all regions except Scotland. In 2013, England had the highest percentage of jobless females, while in 2014, Scotland took the lead.

In detail, in 2013, England had the highest female unemployment rate at 6.8%, which decreased to 6.5% in 2014. Conversely, Scotland’s rate increased from 6.1% in 2013 to 6.7% in 2014, surpassing England. Notably, the peak rate of 6.8% recorded in England in 2013 remained the highest during the entire period.

Furthermore, in 2013, Northern Ireland had a slightly higher female unemployment rate of 5.6% compared to Wales at 5.4%. However, in 2014, Northern Ireland significantly reduced its rate to 4.6%, while Wales also saw a decline to 5.0%. Despite this decrease, Wales did not surpass the 2013 unemployment rate of Northern Ireland.
