It is clear that while the percentage of female unemployment decreased slightly in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, the figure in Scotland increased gradually.
In 2013, the proportion of female joblessness in England was the highest, at 6.8%. The figure for Scotland was the second, at 6.1%. Wales and Northern Ireland had the same figure, at 5.4% and 5.6% respectively.
In 2014, there was an slowly increase to 6.7% in the percentage of female unemployment in Scotland, which had the highest proportion among four countries. By contrast, the figure for England, Wales and Northern Ireland fall down to 6.5%, 5% and 5.6% respectively.
