As can be seen that Rates of jobless women in Scotland was on an upward trend when those in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland successful decreased. It is also of note that the female unemployment rates in England and Scotland were remarkably higher than those in Wales and Northern Ireland.
At the beginning period, the percentage of unemployment in England stood at 6,8% , followed by Scotland at 6,1%. Meanwhile, the proportion of jobless woman in Wales and Northern Ireland was relatively similar, with respective figure being 5,4% and 5,6%.
A year later, the rate of unemployment woman in Scotland experienced a slight increase to 6,7%, making it the highest figure in the year 2014. Otherwise, A fall trend witnessed the percentage of jobless woman in Wales and Northern Ireland, which went down at 5% and 4,6% respectively. Similarly, England also saw an insignificant drop, although it is a larger extent, to 6,5% in the unemployment rates.
