In 2013, England had the highest rate of unemployed women, with 6.8%, followed closely by Scotland at 6.1%. In contrast, in 2014, Scotland had the highest percentage, at 6.7%, followed by England at 6.5%.
Wales had the lowest proportion of women without work in both 2013 and 2014, with rates of 5.4% and 5.0%, respectively. Furthermore, Northern Ireland reached the lowest percentage among the four countries in 2014, at 4.6%.
