The given bar chart represents the data about average depth of snow in centimetres at ski resorts in New Zealand in three sequential years from 2010 to 2012 and several months.
Overall, depth in 2 particular months, namely February and March, had a gradual decline in the last year, in contrast, November, December, and January increased slightly, even if they still were the lowest ones. While in April it saw considerable fluctuations, in November it was practically steady.
In February and March in the first year the depth was at a pretty similar rate roughly 450 cm, however, in February was a little lower by about 15cm. Then, indices were the same for both months, in the following years, 2011 and 2012, 400 and approximately 350cm respectively.
Other month’s depth had been unstable, although April’s parameters underwent significant fluctuations. Initially, in 2010 it was around 400, after which inclined upwards to just below 500cm, and decreased dramatically in 2012 to about 300cm. If April’s average snow depth lowered, despite periodical changes, in January and December it got higher, from for both nearly 150cm, to between 170-200cm, in 2010 and 2012 respectively. In the remaining month, exactly November, depth had minor changes and varied only at approximately 100cm.
