The line graph provides data about the amount of potatoes, pasta and rice which were consumed per person every week in a European country from 1976 to 2006 respectively.
Overall, it is evident that the total of eaten pasta per capita showed the highest figure in the given period, whereas amount of eaten potatoes and rice decreased.
According to the graph, we can see that the amount of potatoes began at around 400 grams and then peaked at 450 grams per person in 1981. Moreover, this figure declined sharply to 100 grams per head until 2006. In addition, the eaten rice stood at 300 grams per person every week in 1976 and it showed downward until 1991 with 180 grams, increased slightly in the final years approximately 200 grams.
Furthermore, approximately 280 grams of pasta was eaten per person per week 1971. This figure, which reached a high of just over 500 grams in 1996 and stayed unchanged in the final years.
