The line graph compares the average price of houses in three different countries (A, B and C) over a period from 1997 to 2014.
Overall, all the nations showed a rise in house price over 15 years. However, country A experienced a significant growth and remained with the most expensive houses.
Although all 3 countries witnessed growth, country A had the highest prices for houses. Starting at approximately $180000 in 1997, country A experienced a steady growth until 2000, after which the prices went up significantly in 2003, over $500000. Despite falling down considerably during next three years, the average house price recovered in 2006 and this was followed by noticeable increase.
However, the remaining two countries – B and C, had similar trend, since prices grew gradually between 1997 and 2004 and had the lowest figures in 2008, with above $250000 and $200000, respectively. While after that figures for country C continued increasing slightly, country B showed dramatic growth during next 2 years and reached $500000 in 2011. There was a slight drop in the final two years.
