The line graph illustrates the number of electronic appliances, namely refrigerators, washing machines, telephones, and television, sold in a Ghanaian electronic store between 1965 and 2000.
Overall it is clear that the sales of all appliances increased gradually, except for telephones. Refrigerators accounted for the biggest figure.
Refrigerators accounted for the largest figure, starting at 700 in 1965 and fluctuating considerably and reaching a peak of 1,000 in the following years. The second-largest seller, washing machines, began at below 400 sales from 1970 to 1975, increased slightly to 400-590, and remained stable until 1995, jumping to 650.
By contrast television was the least sold, at only 50 in 1965 and rising steadily to about 200 in 2000. 400 telephones were sold in Ghana in 1965. However it fell to 300 in 1985, showing some fluctuations, and stood at 400 in the end.
