The provided line graph compares the methods of receiving the required data at a tourist office in the UK in the first half of a year. Those methods are varying: in person, by letter or email and by telephone.
Overall, a cursory glance at the chart is enough to make it clear that the figures of the requests via telephone and face to face increased, whilst those with emails and letters decreased. In addition, it should be mentioned that the most popular way in requesting data is in- person during this timescale.
In the first month of the given year, it is observed that in –person approach was the lowest among the others at approximately 410. However, both written requests and by phone calls started at about 790 and 850 respectively. Later on, queries through in- person rose sharply to overlap the written inquires and reached to 650 on March and persisted to exceed telephone approach as well to hit its culminate at 18500 on June.
In sharp contrast to this, despite that the written questions by emails dropped gradually for three months until May to hit under 400, it witnessed a plateau until June. Regarding the phone calls inquires, it fluctuated between 800 and 1000 over the same period, however, a significant increase was noticed until this trend reached to 1600.
