Looking at the illustration, it is immediately evident that experienced a sharp decline in annual immigration, while Canada saw an increase. By contrast, the Australia country also remained stable. Specially, despite significant decreases, the USA also reached number of the highest immigration in the most country.
In 1991, nearly 1,500 thousand people immigrated to the USA, making it the highest figure among the three countries by a significant margin. Canada came in second with 200 thousand immigrants, which was double the number of immigrants to Australia during the same year.
The number of immigrants to the USA fell dramatically to around 800,000. From 1996 to 2001, immigration figures fluctuated modestly, concluding the period at approximately 900,000, still holding the leading position. In contrast, immigration to Canada and Australia remained relatively stable at around 200 thousand and 100 thousand people, respectively. In the last year, Canada sharply increase and reached with more 400 thousand immigrants.
