In 2011, 8500 shops were opened; afterwards in 2012, considerably 4600 less shops were opened as compared to 2011. However, it again gradually increased in following years (2013, 2014) hy more than 2300 shops. After 2014, it steadily decreased in 2015 and remained constant until 2017. In 2018, it dropped to 3000 shops which was 5500 less shops than initial year.

In 2011, 6500 shops were closed, but in 2012 it was slightly decreased by 500 shops. Afterwards it significantly increased in 2013 and again dropped down to 6500 shops in year 2014. However, it suddenly decreased by more than 6000 shops in 2015 and again it climbed rapidly to 4700 shops in 2016. In 2017 and 2018 it remained constant.

Overall, in initial year there was more shops opened than closed, but in final year closed shops overtook opened shops
