The above line graph illustrates the percentage of Australian exports to four countries, primarily China, Japan, US and India, over span of a 22 year period from 1990 to 2014, measured in percentage.
its clear that the exports of Australia with the US and Japan has decreased over the entire period , the opposite was for China and India exports trade with Austrilia which increased the the entire period.
generally speaking, in 1990 China’s exports started at 2.5% which then has grown to 5% in 2000 before it surged past US and Japan at 10% and 18% respectively.
meanwhile India’s trade exports in 1990 was at 1.5% to 5% in 2004 before it surpassed US at 8% , following downtrend to 6% lower than that of US.
in contrast, US and Japan export trade was dropped in the period, US starting at 13% in 1990 was dropped lower at 9% before it increased again to 13% and gradually to falling as low 4%, its also true for Japan, started as high as 27% to being at 20% in 1995 and gradually falling to 18% over the following 17 years.
