The line graph illustrates the percentage of people who visited the cinema at least once a month were by age. Over a thirty-year period between 1978 and 2008.
Overall, people in age from 14 and 24 with they in age between 25 and 34 were downward trend, whereas the age in 35-49 with age in just over 50 of people were upward trend. An interesting point is that people’s age in 14-24 were more popular that other ages.
Look at the details. With respect to the people with age from fourteen to twenty four, they started at approximately 90 % in 1978. after that, they decreased gradually to just under 80% in the last year. The figure was the highest in ageing group. As for the age between 25 and 34 in people, they started at 80 % in 1978 and then there was a considerable rise to 60 % in 1988. Despite increasing to 80 % in 1998, the next five year they were levelled off. after that, there was a steady decrease to around 75 % in the last five years
By contrast, if we look at the age with 35-49 in people, they started at 60 % in 1978. Following this, there was firstly levelled off and then gradual decrease to approximately 50 % in 1998 in the first decade. The next decade, they increased to 70 % and the last decade, they were levelled off. With respect to the age with over 50 in people, they began that they were a half of ageing 25-34 in 1978. after that, firstly there was a steady drop and then a steady increase in respectively 1988 and 1998. The next ten year, there was levelled off.
