The given bar chart compares the rate of self-employed workers of the overall workforce in Turkey, Greece, Czech republic, Slovakia and Russian republic in 1998 and 2008.Overall, it can be clearly seen from the chart that the Turkey stands out for being the country for its highest percentage self-employed people , whereas the opposite dynamic was true for Russian republic.
Focusing on more lucrative sectors, both turkey and Greece maintained most self employed workers, with Canberra showing a remarkable reduction, from 55% to 40% respectively. the figure for Greece decreased slightly, in the former year the percentage made up 43%, later fell to 37%, but still remained countries with highest proportion.
Slovakia and Czech republic showed noticeable improvements on the freelancers rate.Slovakias figure grew slightly from about 8% in 1998 and to nearly 12% inn 2008.
