During the period under observation, all the compared breeds started at 100 in 1980. Olive Ridley turtles surged until 1997 with a number of almost 135, then fluctuated until the end of the period, and landed on merely 125 turtles. On the other hand, all species exhibited gradual variations, but almost remaining steady, eventually being higher by only 10 turtles in 2012.
Although, Green and Leatherback turtles depicted a downward trend through the years. Green turtles declined marginally ending with nearly 90 turtles in 2012. Meanwhile, Leatherback turtles significantly decreased, until finally setteling on almost 60 turtles in 2012. Both of them widely fluctuation during the whole period.
