The given graph illustrates the amount of varying types of turtles in India over a time period (from 1980 to 2012).
From the data provided in the graph, we can see that turtles divided into 4 different categories: Leatherback, Green, All species, and Olive Ridley. In 1980, all types of turtles had the equal population in India. On the other hand, Leatherback made up the lowest percentage in 2012, whereas Olive Ridley had the highest population in that year.
All kinds of turtles had the fluctuations in the amount of population throughout the period. However, when we compare these categories, we can see that Olive Ridley experineced dramatically increase especially, it increased consistently from 1980 to 1996, and the figure picked at approximately 135 index in 1996, whereas after 1996, some fluctuations were been between 1996 and 2012. In contras to this, the number of Leathercak population dropped sharply from 100 index in 1960 to about 60 index in 2012.
The amount of all species and Green had closely, whereas the population of Green turtles almost nearly lower than all species, which stood at around 100 index and 90 index in 2012 respectively. In addition to this, their population had nearly equal in 1980, 1983, 1989, and 1993.
