In 2000, India’s population was 1 billion and then it has constantly risen to 1.4 billion by around today. From this trend, it is estimated that the population of the country will be 1.6 billion by 2050.
In contrast, the population of China is not in a escalating trend. Although China was more crowded than India in 2000, the growth rate of China have slowed down and finally stopped at nearly 2025. From this year to 2050, the number of people living in China is expected to softly decline. The population of China is estimated to be barely below of 1.4 billion by 2050.
Overall, India will be crowded than China by around 2030. Population of India is estimated to be increased over time while population of China is predicted to be lower than now in the future.
