Overall, there is an increase in population in India throughout the time up until 2050 while China will have a slight downfall of individuals after 2025. At some point, both countries will have the same number of people in the same year.
India started with a low number of people at 1,000 billion in the year 2000, with a steady upward trend of about 100 billion individuals every 10 years. In 2050, the population of India is predicted to be almost about 1,600 billion. the country’s total number of people as of this year 2024 is approximately 1,370 billion.
As regards China, it started with quite a high number of people of about 1,250 billion. Then it increased with almost 50 billion people every year up until 2025 where there was a noticeable steadiness of population of about 1390 billion till 2045 before dropping to 1350 billion. In 2030, both countries will have the same number of population which will be 1450 billion people approximately.
