The column graph illustrates the survey results of young people in Portugal, Spain, Italy, and Netherlands regarding the most sustainable solution of global warming.
Overall, lifestyle changes recorded as the most effective solution for reducing global warming across all countries, followed by variations in government regulations and environmental problems. By contrast, a very small proportion of the surveyed people opted for none of the provided solutions.
Although lifestyle change was rated as the most favorable solution across all countries, Portugal demonstrated the highest proportion by reaching a peak of 50%. Similarly, approximately 38% and around 30% of the recorded youth in Spain and Italy, respectively, chose lifestyle changes as the key solution to mitigating global warming.
As for other categories, the figures exhibited moderate variations across all countries. Addressing governmental rules and regulations resulted in approximately 20% of the surveyed proportion, while removing environmental obstacles fluctuated across the four countries. Lastly, a smaller portion of less than 5% of the surveyed youth across all countries voted for neither of the given solutions.
