The line graph presents the number of passenger at the Toronto metro system for the month of July 2007. The x-axis displays different time of a day whereas the y-axis displays the number of people travelled in thousands. Overall, the use of Toronto metro system is immense around 8am in the morning as well as around 6pm in the evening.
As seen in the graph, the activity at the metro system starts at 6am with the passenger count around hundred thousand. Then, there is a growth in passenger activity at 8am, with travelers around four hundred thousand. This significance in numbers is also seen in the evening around 6pm.
Moreover, as the time passes after 8am, there is a decline in the activity till 10am. The graph again rises for the next four hours, with the number of travelers reaching 300 thousand. There is a drastic decline from 2pm to 4pm in the afternoon. This is the time where the number falls again to 100 thousand. As the night approaches, the activity is at a lower mark, with activity of people around 150 thousand on an average.
