The pie charts below illustrate the labor hours per week for men and women in government and private institutions.
Overall,the trend for men in both sectors is seen for working 46+ hours ,while among the women this is the least bracket. The majority of women in both institutions prefer 6-12 working hours. Females have a similar breakdown regarding the hours they work in both pie charts,whereas males showed no consistent pattern.
Speaking about the women, both institutions show approximately close breakdowns. The dominant share of women who work 6-12 hours represents 35% for both institutions. On the contrary, the least figures observed in a group who work 46+ hours at the rate of 4% in both sectors. The section of females working 31-45 hours total 20% for private and government sectors. Also the proportions for 13-30 hours and 1-2 hours were similar, 23% and 18% respectively in the government sector and 20% and 21% respectively in the private sector.
In terms of men,patterns are different in both institutions. The majority of males work over 46 hours, 30% in the government sector and 34% in the private sector. While the fewest groups are not the same, in the government sector it is 9% of males who work 13-30 hours, and in the private sector 5% of males who work 1-2 hours. In the government institution,the groups of men working 6-12 hours and 1-2 hours both represent 23%. And the last break in the government sector of 31-45 hours working man amounts 15%. While in the private institution the same share of men prefer 31-45 hours of work and 6-12 hours of work at proportions of 20%. Also the figure of men working 13-30 hours was close to the last two,with the rate of 21%.
