The graph below gives an overview of the number of Venezuelian students who visited Paris, London and Rome between 2011 and 2014. Based on the given data we can determine that during the three-year-period the British capital became the most popular tourist destination among the students while Rome seems to have lost its magic.
In 2011 circa 18000 students vacationed in Rome compared to the 15000 in 2014. The Italian capital experienced the highest number of visitors – approximately 18000 – in 2013 and the lowest – merely 12000 in 2012.
The graph shows a similar increase in the amount of South-American students who chose Paris as their destination between 2012 and 2013. The number of visitors, however, was always slightly higher in the French capital than in Rome, reaching 20000 in 2013, except for 2011 when barely 10 000 students travelled to Paris.
The number of students who took a trip to London shows a slow but steady growth from 15000 to almost 20000 between 2011 and 2014.
