The illustration gives a figure of participants at certain social centre that includes different activities such us film club, martial arts, amateur dramatics, table tennis, and musical perfomances in Melbourne, Australia from 2000 to 2020.
Overall, film club and martial arts were quiet stable with some fluctuations. Table tennis started normally, but then grew dramatically; in contrast, amateur dramatics after five years experienced a significant decline.
Firstly, film club was at first place with a figure accounted for about 64 and then experienced a slight decrease until 2010, which was followed by a slight growth and finished the period with a figure about 65. In contrast, musical perfomances had 0 at start; however, after five years it experienced a growth tendency untill the end of the period and overtook amateur dramatics with a figure approximately 18. While musical perfomances became quiet popular at social centre, amateur dramatics lost its position. It started with a figure of approximately 26 and then experienced a slight growth which was followed by a sharp decline. Finally, by 2020 they had a figure about 5.
Martial arts continued film club’s tendency and finished at the same position. It initially had about 36 but then after series of ups and downs it finished the period with the same figure. In contrast, table tennis was a quiet stable during the first decade; however after 2010 it rose dramatically and finished the period on the second place with a figure accounted for about 54. Interestingly, table tennis firstly was on the second lowest position, even though by the end, it has overtaken most of the activities and finished on the second highest position.
