The movement of migrants and refugees to European countries by nationality and regions is depicted on the graph.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is apparent that the highest growth in migrants was in 2015 to Greece, while others countries experienced much smaller migration flow.
To start with Italy over showed minimal changes in migrants and refugees flow, around 150000 in 2014. Meanwhile the number of people moved to Greece was halve as the number of those moved to Spain and both accounted for less than 100.000 in 2014. In 2015 the quantity of migrants in Greece boomed and was almost seven times bigger than in Italy and Spain (about 800.000, just over 100.000 and 100000 respectively).
According to the graph in 2016 the number of migrants and refugees arrived to Italy and Greece was the same almost 200.000 and Spain witnessed minimal changes from 2015.
