The line graph shows Spain and India average CO2 emissions per person for 190 years from 1830 to 2020. The information is given in tons of carbon dioxide.
From 1850 to 1900 Spain started to produce CO2 steadily. During all of this period fossil emissions rose gradually, so they hit 0,6 ton per person in 1900 instead of 0 in 1850. At this time India still had low level of emissions, approximately 0,05 t.
The next period from 1900 to 1950 shows huge different in quantity of CO2 per country. Spain steadily increased CO2 emission for the first 30 years of the 20th century, after this plummeted from 0,95t to 0,3t in 2 years. But recovery previous level of 1 ton till 1950. India started to grow fossil emission during this period. Achieved 0,15 of ton in 1950.
Last period is 1950 – 2022. Spain had increased rapidly CO2 emissions from 1 to 5 tons. Country soared the pik of quantity CO2 per person in 2005 (8 tons), after this period they dropped form 8 to 5 tons in 17 years. Ath this time India stability increased they emissions year by year. They reached 1.9 tons per person for a year in 2022.
In conclusion, during all of period from 1830 to 1850 Spain had more full emissions per person, in 2005 the different was the dramatically big – more then 7 tons, but in the last 10-15 years the gap between Spain and India become lower and lower.
