The line graph compares the percentage of GDP contributed by exports of goods and services in China, India, and Brazil from 1994 to 2010.
Overall, exports increased in both China and India, while Brazil experienced a decline. China showed the most significant growth, overtaking the other two countries.
In 1994, Brazil recorded the lowest export percentage at about 5%, while India stood at roughly 10%. China, by contrast, was higher at nearly 20%. Over the following years, India showed steady growth, rising to just under 25% by 2010, whereas Brazil saw only a modest increase before falling sharply after 2006, dropping to around 5%.
China’s exports rose dramatically, particularly between 2002 and 2006, when the figure climbed from about 20% to over 35%. Although there was a decline after 2008, China still ended the period at a higher level than both India and Brazil, remaining the leading exporter among the three.
