Overall, the elder generation tends to commit their time to light screen activities, whereas the younger age groups allocate their spare time to recreational and intensive pursuits.
Firstly, comparison of two-aged groups accentuated wasting time on relaxation activities, such as watching tv, reading, and thinking pursuits. Watching tv was the most time-consuming activity among elderly people, an average score was 4.5 hours. However, the young people tend to not devote their time to television. Instead of this, the younger generations preferred to dedicate spare time to sports, spending around 0.6 average hours per day . Nevertheless, elderly people succeed in socializing with others, as well as young-aged groups, having 0.8 and 0.7 average hours per day. As a result, both generations had well-developed communication skills with people, while screen time activities had a significant difference on the annual average of hours .
Secondly,playing computer games was in top raitings, and the distinction of wasted time was between two generations. The spending time on computer games was 1.1 average hours per day, by teenagers. On the other hand, the elderly people allocated around 0.8 hours of their spare time. Nevertheless, devoted time on reading activities obtained 1 hour of free time by older- aged people, whereas for young people required 0.8 average hours of free time.
Consequently, the younger generation acquired less free time, while to elderly people lasted more than young-aged groups.
