The graph illustrates the number of jobs in three different indstrues in the United States. Overall, all three industries developed in different ways, but all of them changed a lot in 1980.

In particular, the services raised the most. From 1975 to 1979 it showed small growth from 10 to roughly 17, but after 1979 it sharply changed and started to show linear steady growth. For instance, the number of jobs was nearly 90 in 2025.

However, the other industries did not demonstrate such growth. Manufacturing have nearly the same number of jobs until 1980. Meanwhile, the 1980 was a game changer for this industry and after that he started to fall and achieved only 10 jobs in 2025. Agriculture, in turn had a negative trend for the whole period. From 1975 to 1977 the number of jobs remains the same and was equal to 80, but in 1977 he started to fall. From 1980 to 2025 it had roughly the same values as manufacturing.
