The line graph illustrates information regarding new Instagram users by city in Cambodia over a span of 10 years, from 2004 to 2014.
Overall, Siem Reap fluctuated during the period and recorded the highest figure, whereas Kampot dipped steadily and declined initially, becoming the lowest in terms of new Instagram users in Cambodia. By contrast, Phnom Penh decreased dramatically, fluctuated somewhat, and then levelled off towards the end.
At the beginning of the period, Phnom Penh stood at 3600 users in 2004, compared with around 3500 users in Kampot and 500 users in Siem Reap, respectively. Over the following decade, Phnom Penh decreased substantially from 3600 users in 2004 to 2000 users in 2007 before remaining stable until 2009. Thus, by 2009, Phnom Penh declined slightly to 1500 users in 2010 and recovered to 2000 users again in 2011 before it remained stable until 2014.
Conversely, Kampot decreased modestly from 3500 users in 2004 to 3400 users in 2005 before recovering minimally again to 3800 users in 2006, then decreased gradually to 2800 users in 2007 and experienced an initial drop to 1900 users in 2014. Furthermore, Siem Reap fluctuated steadily from 500 users in 2004 until 1000 users in 2012 before rising steeply to 4000 users in 2014, surpassing the other two cities.
