The line graph depicts data on the participation rate in four different types of sports in special region from 1985 to 2005. Overall, the number of basketball and badminton participants remained nearly at the same their initial figures, whereas the reverse trend was observed in the figures for rugby and tennis. While the most people prefered to participate in Rugby, there was a significant shifts towards tennis over a 20-year period.
Regarding with the most popular sports, rugby had the highest number of participants, dominating with almost 250 attandanced people – considerably lower than that of the second-ranked sport, tennis, which was took part by 150 people. However, in the following two decades, the prticipation rate in tennis increased moderately, surpassing rugby with sligtly over 200 participants. Tge figure for rugby, meanwhile, decreased more than two times, reaching only 50 participants by 2005.
As for the the people who participated in basketball and badminton, there was around 25 participants disparity, with a dominance of the former, at approximately 75 partakers. While there was a slight fluctuation in the figures for both sports over the first decade, the gap between them was not saw change, remaining unchanged initial figures for the rest of the given period.
