Overall, all categories experienced upward trends except for telephone. Beside, telephone was the items that was used the most in total.
Regarding the categories with slight growth and the decrease ones, in 2001, telephone ranked first and following that were microwaves and CD players respectively, with the own proportion ranging from 70% to 95%. In 2008, these categories shared the same figures, at 90% of the families used. Moreover, 60% of households owned clothes dryers in the first year of the period and this figure climbed slightly by ten percent at the final year.
In terms of the remaining figures, a mere ten percent of households owned both the Internet and dishwashers in 2001. These percentages increased remarkably after eight years, at 60% and 40% respectively. Additionally, mobile phones were the items with the highest increase, making up 20% in 2001 and quadrupled that in the end of the period, Home computers had the similar figure with mobile phones in 2008, but doubling mobile phones at the first year.
