As can be seen from the maps, in 1800, most of the lands from Brindell were devoted to farming, with separate areas for crops and animals, while large stretches of woodland also occupied the area. However, in 1900, while the crop fields remained unchanged, the farmland for animals was demolished and replaced by a new industrial zone, along with Bun Hill, a small village for workers. During the same period, there was a reduction in the size of woodland, whereas Brindell saw a slight expansion.
By 2000, the area had become far more urbanized. The industrial zone was expanded significantly, taking up much of the land previously occupied by woodlands and farmland. Similarly, Bun Hill was also widened, and a park was added to serve residents. Agricultural land declined significantly, with crop fields disappearing altogether, while only small patches of woodland remained.
