Overall, the Brindell underwent substantial redevelopment over the period, with several new facilities introduced and some existing areas repurposed, while certain elements, such as the farmland (crops) remained unchanged.
In 1800, the south-eastern side was dominantly occupied by animal farms, while it was demolished and replaced by an industrial area and a village, Bun Hill, where workers were housed by 1900. The woodland on the north-eastern side was also reduced in size. However, Brindell’s location on the south-western side and the River Stour on the eastern side remained unchanged.
In 1900, the north-eastern side of the map was dominated by the woodland, whereas was partially declined and a new area, Bun Hill Park, was introduced on the northern side of the woodland by 2000. In addition, The Bun Hill village was expanded and more industries were developed in the south-eastern area. Meanwhile, Brindell in the southern corner of the map was redeveloped. Although, the crops farmland reduced in size, it remained the largest area.
