The map describes how the Shalton village has been reconstructed over a century, starting from 1910.
Overall, shalton city has experienced a major transformation, becoming more of resindental area, with the construction of countless apartments. Main changes were the introduction of cafe, supermarket and bank, whilw school and post office remained unchanged.
In 1910, there were fewer houses in the village: three on the both sides of high street and one on the cross section of London and School street Roads as well as a large housr in the centre, surrounded by plenty of tress. The east side was almost empty with a post office to the north, while west one had – from south to north- a scholl and butcher to the west of Scholl Road. The house to the noryh of high street was sandwoched Grocer(its west) and Baker(its east).
After the improvement, the village underwent significant alternatipns. In 2010, the number of houses increased, from two to four, locating on the south side of High street, and on the other side of that street, one house had been erected in the place of baker. As well as large house had been converted into small 5 houses and the trees had been chopped. Eastern side had been filled with the construction of four houses – from south to north, while the west side experienced dramatic alternations with tge demolish of butcher and house which had been replaced by supermarket and parking, bank accordingly. Despite restruction, school and post office remained unchanged in their previous place.
