In 1800, most of Brindell was covered by farmland and woodland. The River Stour ran through the middle of the town, with farmland for crops in the north and farmland for animals in the south. There was also a large woodland area in the northeast, while no industrial or residential areas were built at that time.
By 1900, some new developments had appeared. An industrial site was built in the east near the river, and a workers’ village called Bun Hill was created in the southeast. However, the farmlands and woodland still took up most of the land.
In 2000, the town became more modern. A park was built next to the industrial zone, and both Bun Hill and the workers’ village expanded. The woodland became smaller, while farmland for crops disappeared and farmland for animals was reduced.
