Overall, Brindell was heavily industrialized, with the addition of industrial sites, accommodations and facilities for residents.

In 1800, the majority of Brindell’s area was allocated to farmland for crops and animals. This region was heavily forested, with a large woodland in the top-right corner. A River stour flowed through the area and Brindell took up a small proportion of the land in the bottom-left corner.

In 1900, the farmland for crops was expanded at the expense of a significant decrease in the size of the woodland. To the bottom-right corner, the land area to raise animals was turned into the Bun hill, which was – a village for workers and some industrial areas were constructed.

In 2000, the farmland previously used for crops was converted into land for animals, with its size being reduced. To the top-right corner, the Bun hill park was built at the expense of a significant decrease in size of the woodland. One could also see that the expansion of the village for workers and the industrial areas. Meanwhile, to the southwest side, the Brindell was also enlarged further.
