The illustrations depict the urbanization of Brindell in three different period of time, 1800,1900 and 2000. Looking overall, woodland’s area had been reduced throughout the years,while more constructions were built to match the locals’ demand.

Regarding the main features off Brindell in 1800, back when it served as a agriculture land: Notably, the majorities of the lands were used as farmlands, where they built up for different purposes. In addition, the farmland positioned in the upper left corner were exploited for crops while the other one that sat in the bottom right was employed as livestock farming. Simultaneously, there was a woodland situated in the upper right corner and a river stour appeared in the central area, providing water for the lands.
